Food Safety
We are committed to producing the safest food in the world.

We Prioritize Food Safety with Science-Backed Practices, Research and Training
On-farm sustainability practices not only contribute to environmental health but also support food security by ensuring the production of safe, high-quality pork throughout the value chain.
Goal
✓ By 2030, 100% of fresh pork products can be traced through the supply chain using technology that allows the public to easily access information on how pork was raised and produced.1
Target
→ Percentage of fresh pork produced per year can be traced from retail or foodservice location back to the packing plant.
Progress
Currently, all fresh pork produced annually can be traced from retail or foodservice locations back to the packing plant or farm. While this demonstrates progress, producers are committed to continuous improvement by fostering strategic partnerships and leveraging appropriate resources.

Food Safety + UN SDGs
Our commitment to food safety aligns with three of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in ways that resonate with our values. We seek to exceed their benchmarks where possible and reimagine solutions where we believe they fall short or overreach.
By setting and exceeding our own high standards, we aim to lead by example and foster meaningful change.
